2 airlines changing terminals at RDU 🛫
Due to the increasing number of flights at RDU, budget airlines Breeze Airways and Sun Country Airlines are relocating from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 at Raleigh-Durham International Airport to alleviate congestion.
Breeze will start operations in Terminal 1 on April 2. Sun Country will begin there on April 17
A new craft brewery is planned near Crabtree Valley Mall 🏫
A new craft brewery is being planned within the vicinity of Crabtree Valley Mall, situated at an office park.
Highwoods Properties has submitted site plans for a brewery and restaurant within its GlenLake office park in Raleigh. It seems that Crooked Hammock Brewery, originating from Delaware, is set to establish its presence there. Renderings included in the plans indicate a structure labeled as the "Crooked Hammock shell building."
2 Raleigh Universities names new presidents 🎓
William Peace University announced President Brian Ralph's resignation effective at the end of the semester. Trustee Lynn Morton will serve a 2-year interim presidency during the national search for a new president.
Meredith College Board of Trustees announced Wednesday that Aimee Sapp, currently provost at a Missouri private university, will become the school's 9th president on July 1, replacing outgoing president Jo Allen, who has led since 2011.
